VEGALFARO PASAMONTE 2008
VINEYARD: From our vineyards on the Finca La Muela, where we produce cereals, almonds, olives and vines on "Pasamonte", a 4-hectar plot of chalky clay soil.
WINEMAKING: Cold pre-maceration followed by slow alcohol fermentation which produces a subtle, elegant extraction of the goodness of the garnacha tintorera grape. Natural fining in Hungarian and French oak casks.
BOTTLED: June 2010
VARIETIES: 95% GARNACHA TINTORERA 5% syrah
MONTHS in CASK: 12 months in French and Hungarian oak
Alcohol content: 13,5 % vol.
TASTING NOTES: Deep purple hue, intense with a great rim. Nose: good balance of mature spicy fruit and a marked perfume. Delicious, creamy and full on the palate with clear mature tannins.

VEGALFARO Sauvignon blanc
VINEYARDS:l Limestone terroir, Finca “La Muela” con It is cultivated in the finca Pasamonte
VARIETIES: 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Garnacha Blanca
HARVEST: Usually harvested in the first week of September, it is harvested by hand. Pre maceration under cold temperature, Sauvignon Blanc is slowly fermented. The Garnacha Blanca stays for three months in French oak barrel using the technique known as battonage.
CHARACTERISTICS: Pale lemon yellow. Intense in the nose, notes of Passion Fruit, pineapple, watermelon, litchis, very aromatic. Big in the mouth, long finish. Very good acitity
